Father Jairo appointed as our next pastor

July 11, 2024

His Excellency Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama has appointed Father Jairo A. Maldonado-Pacheco as our next pastor effective June 27, 2023. He becomes the 22nd resident pastor of Saint Ann following a line that goes back to 1937, when bishop Eugene J. McGuinness appointed Father Edward L. Gross as the first resident pastor.

Let us continue to offer our prayers for Father Jairo as he continues to shepherd our parish community.

One word of advice: Come to a migrant mass. Even if you don’t feel called to volunteer in the ministry long term, just going will activate your missionary muscles, something that we as Catholics are so often unwilling to do. Doing so will be a rewarding experience and a great lesson in becoming an evangelizer.
