Saint Ann and All Souls Mission prepares to receive its new parish administrator
This is the cause of rejoicing, that we don’t have to triumph over sin alone. If we did, I’d be hopeless… All we need to do is faithfully and persistently bring our poverty and weakness to the cross and unite it to Jesus, then let Him sustain us through this life with His grace. What a relief!

We stand on theshoulders of giants and profess a faith given by almighty God and developed inSacred Tradition. Our very ability to know and profess the Creed is itselfevidence of The Holy Spirit working and moving among us.
In November, the Diocese of Raleigh sponsored their first ever Vocations Poster Contest. Students in grades K-8 were invited to create hand-drawn posters that depicted vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life. A panel of judges at the Diocese reviewed all entries and chose the top fifteen posters.
This was also the first walk in the state of North Carolina. This nationwide event raises awareness of the challenges faced by neighbors in need.
Through the Church, we find ourselves in the same position as those lucky few in that synagogue in Galilee 2,000 years ago. We find in front of us the same declaration of jubilee by the same saving God. Holy Mother Church, The Body through which God works, addresses the entire people of God around the world and institutes in 2025 another jubilee year.
The Paschal mystery of Christ, by contrast, cannot remain only in the past, because by his death he destroyed death, and all that Christ is - all that he did and suffered for all men - participates in the divine eternity, and so transcends all times while being made present in them all.
We find ourselves immersed in societies of serial consumers who live from day to day, dominated by the hectic pace and bombarded by technology, lacking in the patience needed to engage in the processes that an interior life by its very nature requires.

Man cannot live without love. He remains a being that is incomprehensible for himself, his life is senseless if love is not revealed to him, if he does not encounter love, if he does not experience it and make it his own, if he does not participate intimately in it.

As God's plan for salvation took time, the process for a man to become an instrument of mercy takes time, too.

The Blessed Sacrament brought the Catholic community together frequently and in varied locations.
In these intimate moments with Jesus in people’s homes, he calls, he invites, he searches, and he finds a way into our homes, our souls if there is any openness to our sacred Host.
Through campus ministry, the Church is present to prepare youth to live out their faith for the rest of their lives into eternal beatitude.
The procession for The Feast of Corpus Christi gives us a chance to publicly share our faith and devotion to Christ.

The Blessed Sacrament was carried in the procession under our newly-acquired canopy, a lovely addition to our parish regalia.
